Lake Cycling CX239 - Regular | White / White Microfiber

Lake's most popular road shoe, evolved for a firmer, more stable hold: the CX239

The Lake CX239 is the latest evolution of Lake's best-selling road shoe, refining the proven formula for a more secure, powerful fit. An integrated tongue bonded to the medial upper panel creates a firmer foot hold that drives power straight into forward momentum and reduces hotspots, while a fiberglass-reinforced internal heel counter delivers a more stable heel than the outgoing CX238. Wider spacing between the two BOA Li2 dials gives cleaner independent adjustment across the forefoot. This all-white colorway uses a breathable Clarino Microfiber and mesh upper with a protective heel panel, rubber toe bumper, and Outlast heel lining.

Underneath sits a Lake Competition 100% carbon fiber sole, stiff, light, and built for serious power transfer, on a 3-bolt pattern for Shimano SPD-SL, Look, and compatible pedals. The CX/TX Competition last carries a curved profile with a larger toe box, tighter heel, and slightly wider ball girth so the foot can expand under high-cadence pressure. This is the Regular width, and unlike Lake's segmented CX242, the CX239's continuous closure path gives a tighter, more locked-in feel across the top of the foot, the shoe for riders who want that race-snug wrap.
