Lake Cycling MX239 Gravel - Regular | Black / Gold

Lake's best-selling gravel shoe, refined for fast and technical terrain: the MX239 Gravel

The Lake MX239 Gravel is the latest version of Lake's most popular gravel shoe, tuned for the demands of fast, loose, mixed-surface riding. This Black and Gold colorway uses a durable recycled leather and mesh upper with Helcor abrasion-resistant leather panels and an Outlast temperature-regulating heel lining, part of Lake's push toward better materials without giving up toughness. A fiberglass-reinforced internal heel counter locks the heel down, and wider spacing between the two BOA Li2 dials gives you cleaner independent adjustment across the forefoot.

Underfoot, the Lake Competition 100% carbon fiber sole pairs with a Mountain Race X real rubber tread, stiff and efficient on the pedals, with enough rubber and toe protection for confident footing when the ground turns loose, and you can fit forefoot lugs for extra bite. Built on the MX Competition last with a larger toe box and tighter heel cup, it runs a 2-bolt SPD pattern compatible with SPD, Time ATAC, and Crankbrothers cleats. This is the Regular width, the gravel build runs less rubber than the MTB MX239 for lighter weight and a bit more flex, exactly what you want when the miles and the terrain both pile up.
